Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 for political communication, serving as the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. It was believed that she was to replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21But, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30, 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was with the Obama administration until its conclusion.
