Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate and a TV presenter for MSNBC. She was also a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was necessary for them to release Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has been featured on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball got married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball says that her political interest due to her experience as pregnant during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able observe how the election affected those in the country and she was able to appreciate the worldwide impact US politics have on the lives of all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district in the year 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She hosted The Cycle, a MSNBC television show she co-hosted from June 2012 to August 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
